I work across documentary and nonfiction film, television, and digital media. I’ve participated in projects at many stages, from early development and scene work all the way to picture lock, helping teams go from we know this matters to now we know how to tell it.
I often work with directors, producers, and creators who have great access, abundant footage, and a sense of urgency. My role is to help them realize their creative vision and craft something clear, evocative, and emotionally engaging. Along the way, I’ve contributed to stories executive produced by Spike Jonze, Brie Larson, John Leguizamo, Oprah Winfrey, and Rick Rubin, and commissioned by Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Vice, and The New York Times.
For me, storytelling is a way of engaging with the world in an intentional way. It means listening, humility, and respect for the many ways people experience life across borders and cultures. I’m fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and enjoy collaborating in person as well as remotely across time zones.
